Bacteria

McElroy is the exclusive distributor in Mississippi for a highly developed strain of fat and grease degrading Bacteria as supplied by Y.E.S. (see link below for more information)

McElroy utilizes carefully selected naturally occurring bacteria that make special Lipase’s which specifically break down the Fat, Oil, and Grease so the bacteria can digest it. The ultimate product of the bacteria is a non-toxic gas, it is released to the atmosphere rather than flowing out the grease trap.

Our bacteria is specifically designed to outperform others in the consumption of grease, starch and sugar. The result is almost complete removal, not relocation of the grease.

Monitoring

Using a special sampling device McElroy technicians monitor the levels of the Scum, Effluent and bottom solids levels of the Grease Interceptor as part of the preventive maintenance visit.

McElroy also offers the latest technology in Grease Trap Monitoring, an electronic ultrasonic tank monitoring system that allows owners to easily see what is going on in their grease trap, potentially minimizing unnecessary pumping and system backup.

· Both monitoring techniques allow the customer to implement a pumping schedule based on accurate data from the tank.

· Owners avoid the unexpected cost and financial hardships of untimely system backups and failures.

Preventive Maintenance

McElroy sends a factory trained technician to your facility bi-weekly. Technician swaps out bacteria pouch with freshly charged bag. Additionally, the grease trap lids are removed and bacteria are oxidized to enhance grease digestion in pit. McElroy Technician will take readings during the bi-weekly scheduled service maintenance visits using a measuring device. While technician is on site, a special discount is applied to any services your facility may require such as fixture, water line, or drain line repairs not associated with grease remediation program.

Waste Water/Lift Station Treatment

McElroy uses the PX700 - a liquid bio-catalyst that stimulates biological activity. The product is both environmentally and physically safe. The biological stimulators in PX700 increases the metabolic and reproductive rates of most bacteria. The introduction of PX700 into a wastewater treatment system will non-selectively enhance aerobic biological activity, thereby improving both carbonaceous and nitrogenous removals. The product is especially effective for endogenous situations, i.e. aerobic digesters.
