Backflow prevention, back siphonage or cross-connection contamination prevention has been mandated by Mississippi State Statute and EVERY business must comply.
MS Code Section 41-26-14 According to MS State Statute each back flow preventer must be inspected annually. McElroy can assist you in meeting the requirements of this State statue. Backflow, cross-connection and back-siphonage all mean the same thing: used water that has drained from your pipes is sucked back into the water system by a drop in water pressure. If this water is contaminated, it can cause serious health problems. McElroy can provide Design, installation, maintenance and inspection for back flow preventers. We can also set up a periodic maintenance and inspection schedule to ensure your compliance with the State Statutes and insure that your water supply does not become contaminated! McElroy has been certified for this type of work and continues to keep up with the latest changes by sending their technicians to continuing education seminars. In fact, Terrell Brooks, one of our most qualified technicians just attended Backflow Prevention Certification classes given by the Mississippi Rural Water association in Jackson Mississippi in late March of 2006.
